On June 14, 2010 Goods for Good hosted the NextGen Africa forum with The Vice President of Malawi-The Right Honorable Joyce Banda, key NGOs and experts in the field to discuss the challenges facing Africa's 50 million orphans. The evening began with a private networking reception for over 35 nonprofit organizations, followed by a public forum, which featured a keynote address from Vice President Banda, Q & A discussion panel with Dr. Jane Aaronson of WorldWide Orphans Foundation, Ann Veneman, Former Executive Director of UNICEF, Vice President Joyce Banda, and moderator Claire Gaudiani. ..In attendance were distinguished guests such as Ambassador Brian Bowler, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Malawi to the United Nations, Matilda Cuomo, Andrea Tease, Jack Brewer, Ellen Lambert, Marla Smith, Abby Doft, and Natalie Hahn.
