(2005) The Buddhist Communities of New York, remembering 9/11 with Lanterns of Light from Pier 40. All who wanted to do so, wrote messages of peace and prayers on paper laneterns which were then floated on the Hudson River at sunset, to make their way down to Ground Zero.
(2006) The buildings that survived the attacks of 9/11 now surround ground zero. On 9/11/2006, they framed the area while silently witnessing the memorial.
